So Kong Dong Restaurant at NJ

There is a Korean tofu restaurant called So Kong Dong Restaurant at Fort Lee of New Jersey. In Korean restaurants, they usually give customers several kinds of kimchee as side dishes. Kimchee is free and we can refill it if we need. Each customer have one kimchee soup which is not spicy but a little sour. Eggs will be put in a tofu soup later.

The menu of this restaurant is very simple. Every meal is the same price ($8.00) and customers can choose different kinds of meat in their tofu soup. These choices are mushroom, beef, pork, calm, kimchee beef, oyster and so on. In addition, customers can choose not spicy, not too spicy, medium hot, hot, or very hot for their tofu soup.

After ordering meals, the waiter helped us put the rice in our own bowl from a hot stone bowl. Then the waiter asked us if we want to put hot tea with rest rice in the hot stone bowl. If we put rice in tea, it will taste more like Japanese style. If not, we can have crispy rice and it will have very nice rice smell.

My beef tofu soup is nice but flavour is not good enough to me.

Additionally, Korean B.B.Q. Ribs ($12.00) is very delicious that I would like to suggest. It is totally not spicy but sweet and tasty. A waiter gave us a knife so that we can cut it into small pieces. For me, the taste is very similar as B.B.Q meat sold at H mart.
